Talking Deep Time Walks and fabric recycling: Join Alli Harding on South of the River tomorrow
It’s commonly accepted that the history of our planet spans approximately 4.6 billion years. But how can we possibly imagine just how long that is?
Tomorrow, Alli Harding will welcome a local host of Deep Time Walks, where you travel the years of the Earth’s history, at the rate of one million years per metre. Don’t worry: we’ll explain.
Alli will also chat with Hampton’sĀ Gail Harris, who is passionate about teaching children, teenagers and adults how to recycle fabric – and stop buying fast fashion.
Tune in to South of the River at 2pm on Sunday 6 August for the interviews, plus great music and the amazing investigation that solved a 95-year-old mystery of a human jawbone found near Wilsons Promontory.
