He climbs mountains, surfs, writes songs and travels around the world as a host on National Geographic. This is the international life of Newcastle based Nick Saxon, and it sure sounds like he’s enjoying it.

Personally for me, even the thought of climbing a mountain leaves me short of breath, but Nick’s adventures are an inspiration to have a crack at something a little out of the ordinary. Nick comes to Melbourne this week on the tour to promote his latest single “Sherpa”, and it was great to chat to him about his experiences travelling around the world. This included the worst flight of his life, jamming with locals in other countries and explaining just who was the inspiration behind the track.
