Special guest on this Purple Haze Archive podcast is Max Merritt, an Australian Rock Legend. Coming over from New Zealand in the early 1960s after a successful career there, Max also found further success in Australia, with such titles as Western Union Man &  Slippin’ Away. He remains today as one Australia’ great interpreters of classic soul & R&B. Max Merritt was inducted into Australia’s Rock Hall of Fame in 2008.
