Memories of the 1986 Russell Street bombing

On Monday 13 August 2018 our 10am to midday program “A Newsman and his Music” featured a flashback to 1986 when terror came to Melbourne.

It was the day before the Easter break when a car-bomb exploded outside Russell Street police headquarters, fatally injuring 21-year-old Victoria Police Constable Angela Taylor and wounding 22 other people.

Program presenter Colin Tyrus interviewed his brother Peter who was a cameraman with Channel Ten.
