Join the walk for Lachlan’s legacy

In this podcast, Southern FM newsman Colin Tyrus is speaking with Carey McLaren, Director of the Lachlan McLaren Foundation. The LMF has been created as the legacy of Lachlan McLaren who was 16-years-old when he was killed in August 2021 by a drugged driver at Parkdale.

Lachie’s Foundation wishes to raise money through community events, to support road trauma victims and road safety programs and continue Lachlan’s random acts of kindness to our local community.

The Foundation’s first charity event is Lachie’s Walk, a community walk in Bayside on Sunday 11 August 2024. This six-kilometre walk along the foreshore will be followed by a community barbecue and raffles at Mentone Grammar.
