THE BROKEN SWEETHEARTS ON THE LIVE SUNDAY SESSIONS
The Broken Sweethearts are a Melbourne based band showing plenty of heart and lots of balls. Blending many styles, their original music touches on strong themes – from the celebration of Australian themes with “The Great Divide” through the Funk/Jazz Swing of Toast to Absent Friends and the emotional Now I Feel The Rain. Mark Gardner’s EP The Great Divide continues to generate astounding levels of appreciation and exposure.
The Broken Sweethearts have affected every room they’ve played for and now they are playing in our room and if you like in your own lounge room as they appear as our guest on the Live Sunday Sessions from 4pm – 5pm on Sunday 23rd February. It will be a packed house in the SFM studio. Inspired by the Golden age of Rock n Roll and the Australian songwriting greats of the ’80s & ’90s The Broken Sweethearts deliver a distinctive cocktail of rock, folk, jazz and blues tinged original material.
