Is the correct use of grammar important? In this chat with Hear and There presenter Nathan Reynolds, Dr Selina Samuels argues that in today’s information-saturated world, good grammar is necessary for communication to be clear and enjoyable to read. However, NAPLAN tests show that students’ grasp of grammar has declined over the last ten years.
