As always, the first half of the show is focused on a theme with related songs. John pulls out the odd surprise and occasionally leaves you wondering what the next track may be.

The music spans several decades, and usually several genres too.

The second half of the show starts off with either a  personal wellbeing tip or a recommended community group highlighted between two very well selected songs

John leads up to midday with the popular “Guess that Year” segment.

Do you remember the positive news from history and maybe some of the lesser played tracks? if you do, then this segment is for you.

But be warned, John does slip in some of the best, or worst, puns you will hear.
