Surviving Manus Island; Farhad Bandesh Fights On For Refugees
Farhad Bandesh, who spent 6 years on Manus Island after escaping war and persecution in Kurdistan, followed by detention in Melbourne hotels after being evacuated under the Medivac program, talks to Craig Francis about his many years spent awaiting his freedom. He also describes how his art and his music helped him to survive, and updates on his latest ventures into film, winemaking and ongoing advocacy for other refugees.
