What’s on ‘Built For Speed’, Friday 14th December 2018
After ‘Built For Speed’s’ unavoidable absence from your airwaves last week we’re ready to unleash a jam-packed show. We’ll take a look at films on opposite ends of the quality spectrum, ‘Lean on Pete’ and ‘Mortal Engines’. Tune in on Friday night to find out which end of that spectrum they occupy. We’ll also tell you about some kids’ holiday viewing with films like ‘The Grinch’. There’ll be a feast of magnificent tunes including new Aussie indie releases, classic rock and more selections from the best music of the last few years – this week it’s 2016 and 2017. Don’t forget our comprehensive wrap-up of music news and our previews of gigs and TV for the week. Check out ‘Built For Speed’, Friday 8-10pm on 88.3 Southern FM.
Also, coming up on Friday 21st December is the infamous ‘Built For Speed Christmas Special’ with Boxing Day film reviews and songs that expose that weird union of rock’n’roll and Christmas. If you don’t listen you’re a Grinch.
Folks, that’s not all, on Friday 28th December it’s the only grand final that matters, ‘The Built For Speed End of Year Spectacular’. It’ll be a self-indulgent list orgy as we reveal our best, worst, most overrated and underrated films and favourite music of 2018. Be sure to end your year the right way by tuning in to ‘Built For Speed’.
