They almost made it – Number 2’s on Radio Ga Ga
This Saturday morning from 10am listen in to Radio Ga Ga for 2 hours of poking fun at the number 2’s. The songs that fell just short of reaching the pinnacle, the tracks that couldn’t quite cut the mustard, the tunes that never quite got to salute the judge.
Would you be surprised to find that Queen’s “We Are The Champions”, The Beatles “Let It Be” and Irene Cara’s “Flashdance (What a feeling)” only made it to second spot? Would you be equally surprised that Toni Basil and Right Said Fred actually got that high? Did you know that Foreigner’s “Waiting for a girl like you” spent ten agonising weeks sitting in second spot without ever getting to number one? What are the other songs that will make this elite list on Radio Ga Ga? Maybe you could “confide in me” some clues, or perhaps you can feel it coming “in the air tonight”, either way it’ll be “murder on the dance floor” so you better call “Ghostbusters”. Tune in for some fun tunes and interesting trivia about the ones that never made it on Radio Ga Ga 10am to 12 noon on Saturdays.
