Mark Wirtz had a long & successful career as a music producer. Best known for his classic “Teenage Opera” hit single & the one & only highly acclaimed 1968 Tomorrow album, featuring future Yes guitarist Steve Howe.In the early 1960s Mark Wirtz became music director for the legendary Marlene Dietrich taking over from Burt Bacharach, & later on in the 60’s he became in-house producer at EMI Records at Abbey Road Studios, London, where the contemporaneous Beatles recorded.
In the 1970s Mark Wirtz produced such diverse acts as: Helen Reddy, Leon Russell, Kim Carnes, Dean Martin and Anthony Newley.
